I rented this book for my class. Received the download instantly to my iPad. The only problem that i had is because it was rented, it limited my download devices to 2. Either way, I received an 'A' in my course.
I bought this book for a class, and was impressed with how the material was presented. It's written well, and has plenty of real-word cases that keep things interesting, and gives the reader a nice break from the more term-heavy sections.

Book was brand new with the exception of the cover falling completely off within a week of light use. It was hanging by a thread when I first received it. Otherwise it is perfectly fine, so I just treated it like a paperback.
Whoever wrote this text could have shortened it by 200-300 pages and gotten the same effect and information across. The book uses good, modern examples throughout, but repeats the same points every section and sub-section which makes it really difficult to read. Professor probably could have chosen about 20 different texts than this one.
As an older student, I rarely find myself in the position of spending alot of time in a textbook. This text is well written, well researched and thoroughly enjoyable to just sit down and read! Very interesting examples used and lots of stories of people and how they managed businesses.
I would recommend it highly to anyone trying to learn about managing businesses, people and themselves. Some might find it simplistic, but it was great for me.
